The first session of the reading group The Semantics and Pragmatics of Norms (SPN) will take place on Monday, November 3 2014, at 13:30, room 40.249 (second floor of Roger de Llúria building at ​the ​Campus Ciutadella​ of Universitat Pompeu Fabra​)​.

We will kick-off by reading and discussing Angelika Kratzer’s (1977) “What `must’ and `can’ must and can mean”. As refreshment, you may want to read this or this.

As to other kinds of refreshment: there’ll be water in the room, but you may want to bring lunch or snacks with you.
