The residence Campus Ciutadella offers affordable accommodation (for Barcelona standards) and is within 5 min walking distance from the Conference location. Residencia Universitaria la Ciutadella.
Another residence close by (15 min walking distance) is the Residencia Universitaria Campus del Mar.
Recommended hotels
All the following hotels are in the Poblenou area of Barcelona and are within walking distance (e.g., 20 minutes) of the workshop site (Campus de Ciutadella, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, in the Villa Olimpica area of the city). The Old Town is also about a 25 minute walk. Metro stations are not far away.

To reserve:
– Go to Marina Barcelona (if it asks for Username and Password, hit cancel, and it will make the connection).
– Select Barcelona as the city and H10 Marina Barcelona as the hotel, specify your dates.
– Hit Search and it will show rooms and rates. Select the rooms you want.
– The next page is for extras, which you will probably ignore. Click Continue with Reservation.
– The next page is for Personal Details. Fill in. Click on Confirm Reservation.
– You will receive a confirmation e-mail.
